So after a couple months of trying to find little periods of time to make progress here and there i've finally managed to finish my project of refurbishing my wheels.

After disassembling them I wetsanded the lips from 800-1000-1500-2000-3000 grit.

I then used White diamond Metal polish for the final shine.

(ignore the black bottle of rubbing compound i bought it for a different step but it didn't work, just pretend that it's the 3000grit pads I bought after this picture)

I also did a light sand on the faces with the 3000 grit pads to remove some minor brake dust/dirt stains.

I wanted to add a little flare/personal touch to them. so i decided to send the hardware off to be powdercoated anodized blue.

I was a little worried how it would all look once it was all back together since i'm not too big on extremely flashy or standout wheels. But i'm very pleased with the end result It's flashy but i don't think it's extreme, at least not in my eyes...

What do you all think?
(sorry for some bad shots)

Thanks guys. the lip is actually for the 01-02. so it's fitment isn't exactly great, plus the passenger side (the one thats the worst) got into a fight with a parking block, barely survived i think the poly stretched out a bit. I'm sure i can tweak the corners up a tad. level it out. It needs to be resprayed so i'll work on fitment then. I would have loved an OEM lip before the poly replica hit the market now everyone is rocking it. I like being one of a select few with this lip. so I don't know if i'll get the OEM one likeawp is selling

Looking good man. Wheels look amazing

In order to fix your lip just jack up the car and drill one screw under each corner. If will push up the corners to the front bumper. That's what I had to do.

Thanks Dillon! I wish I could have had them done for the mid Atlantic meet.
Matt, YOU'RE THE FU*KIN MAN! That's a great idea! Thanks dude. The droopy corners have bugged me since I installed it.
LeAccord,I did it over such a long period of time I can't give an honest answer. But a guestimate, if I had three days off work and my girl not demanding attention. I could have done it all.
