IMHO everyone should be required to take a basic personal finance class before graduating high school. This thread would be on page 1 of the text book.

IMHO everyone should be required to take a basic personal finance class before graduating high school. This thread would be on page 1 of the text book.

Isn't there a finance class in everyones senior year...? I had one and it was a requirment so yeah....

i havent read all the post. But He lost his 6th gen? or was it a 08-09? I cant imagine the payment on a 9-11 yr old car can be that much. I guess maybe if he got it from a dealer...But i wouldnt doubt if his pops just didnt want to pay anymore and figured his boy would man up and pay for his own car. Tough love from poppa lol:gride:

A guy I worked with back in college got a 20% rate on his 8 yr old car (car lot provided the financing), so yeah, it's possible if your credit is bad enough.

Not much for me... I got a 6.3% loan through the credit union, my payments are $143.69 over 36 months
