Well recently (pass year) I have been getting low oil within 2000-3000 miles and I would have to fill up a quart of oil.

Well does this look like an oil leak to you? How much would a fix be?

Yeah that's most likely the leak. Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but I think its a relatively easy fix, just the gasket.

Yup. just need a new VC gasket and you'll be good. remember don't over-torque the VC bolts. ;)

be like it is
mine is officially in and not leaking (so far).

thats what the back of mine looked like...but didnt leak that much oil :ohsnap:

if youre paying a shop to do it...figure 1 hour of labor @ $80ish plus $40 for the part cause theyll charge you full price but they pay the discounted price.

thanks, I know I dont have the right tools to do this but all I would need is im guessing a torqe wrench?

And ovbiously the gasket?

When I do this procedure I ovbiously need to drain the oil out. Can some one link me to the gasket I will need? I have a 98 accord lx
