Hey guys!
Has anyone ever had to replace their IAT sensor circuit? My maintainence light had 1 solid flash when i turn it on and some guides and people have told me it might be my IAT sensor circuit. Anyone have any DIY guides for replacing a IAT sensor circuit?

maintenance required light or check engine? my maintenance light flashes ever so often just reminding you to get service such as oil change and so forth. it flashes every 7500.

Sorry to bump an old thread. I just wanted to add to what has already been discussed. I have a code P0112 IAT Sensor Circuit Low Input. In the CEL Code sticky it says "IAT Sensor (Intake Air Temperature) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor" So either the wiring is bad? Which i'm thinking it's not, or the sensor has to be replaced? Not something you can clean like the EGR sensor? I couldn't find it on any honda intake manifold diagram. A link would be appreciated.

The sensor gets dirty with grime just like the egr. It is much easier to clean though, I think a nineteen mm socket takes it out. Blast it with Carb cleaner and wipe it off. Install is the reverse of removal.

Yeah, so I replaced my Intake Air Temperature Sensorand clean the wire plug end using electronic cleaner, then reset the ecu by pulling out the 7.5 for 30 seconds, and I am still getting a CEL for P0112 10 IAT Sensor Circuit Low Input. Any Ideas what to do?

Check for continuity between the sensor and the ecu and then from the sensor to ground. There is an open somewhere.

Yeah...newbie here...exactly how do I do that? I have a multimeter...do I use that?

Put it on the setting that looks like a horse shoe, (Ohms). Take the leads, you may need a needle to probe the connectors. Put one end one of the wires at the IAT connector (red/yel)(Unplugged, engine off) and put the other end at #25 of this ECU connector:

There should be something like .1-.7ish. If thats good then go to the other pin at the IAT. Put one lead on the other pin, (it may be black) and put the other lead to either the negative on the battery, or some other good engine ground. It should read the same .1-.7ish. If it doesnt, then there is an open.

Please excuse my ignorance. I am still trying to figure how I need to do this. MY multimeter wires aren't even long enough to reach from the connector to the ECU under the passenger side compartment. Does it matter which pin i need to probe on the IAT Sensor plug connector? One is green and the other black. I am guessing the black coresponds to the bottom pin (ground). The ECU plug i need to test is the blue one, correct? I think I need to turn the dial to 200 on the multimeter?

okay, so I got a .7 reading from the sensor ground connection to negative battery post. But nothing came up on the ECU IAT pin to "hot" IAT plug connector. All the wiring looked good and it's surrounded in split loom. Should I try an locate a IAT plug connector from a junkyard and solder that in?
