realistically my next car will be the new civic Si, or a slightly used TSX and I'll mod which ever one I get. my plan is to have one of them by this time next year after I buy a condo. I'd also love to get an eg hatch and mod the hell out of it and make it my fun weekend car. completly strip the interior, do up the suspension, and throw in a K24 TSX engine with a K20 head from a RSX type-s and all sorts of other goodies.

from my evo vs. wrx understanding, it boils down to how much reliability you're willing to sacrifice. from what I've read/heard evo's don't take abuse very well

They are both very similar out the box, it comes down to which car you like better both can be built to be bigger beasts. The 4G63 engine is an amazing engine and it's even better of late both cars have their problems and subaru does have the better name but don't forget that the WRX/STI have had problems with their trannys. Also you don't see many WRX/STI making crazy power on stock internals and turbo if you look on evolutionm.net you will see a roll call of all the evo's making crazy amount of power on the stock internals and even turbo with no problems. Just my 2cents but of them have their advantages so for the most part for some buyers it comes down to which one looks better and drives better.
