increasing keyless remote entry range

I've been wondering this too. The range on mine is really bad also -- I changed the battery and it stayed the same....

And what is this chin trick? Is that for real?

The keyless receiver unit is built into the passenger side multiplex control unit, located in the passenger side dash. Don't believe there's an external antenna to it though...

I can solve your problem. Get an aftermarket system.
