nothing's going to happen if you drive it around like that for a while unless you're driving through extremely dusty areas.. i dont even use a filter, i use a window screen patch as a filter lol.

surprised the kit didn't come with a rubber mount. It's bound to break without it.

Just wrap electrical tape around the tube. Its not going to make a difference performance wise, and it'll be safe to drive until you have another solution. Otherwise, don't drive around dusty areas or in the rain, and you'll be fine.

This happened on my aem too. It broke off cleanly that theres no leak luckily. I didn't know that this was a common problem.

well i get an a plus in fail... i never sent in the warranty card... apparently they wont even look at it. sooo for now i have a piece of rubber zip tied over it. so far so good. but mine has the rubber grommet. sooo any suggestions for when i get it fixed? should i just get the hole filled/patched and not mount it? lol dont know what to dooo
