Installing lip this week

Note: the lip is NOT on the the car in the first two pictures. I do need to actually say that because some people will be saying it looks weird, go figure

and installed:

Ok, the test fit went well except for the fact that the lip isn't wide enough to wrap around to the fenders correctly so I could put self tapping screws through it. So basically what you're looking at is a lip that isn't being held on from the fenders but only in the middle. I'm not really sure what other 01-02 people have done to get this on correctly but I cut it perfectly, it just won't go around the sides....so yeah, its not able to be driven with on. It sure does look good in my driveway though, but I've already removed it for the time being so I can figure out what I'm doing. Isn't there only one mugen style lip out there? the 98-00 one? Obviously I know modification is necessary but it just seems strange that other people have gotten it on and this one is definitely not wide enough to fully wrap around to the fenders.

Panda status initially and then painted. I'm actually ordering another one to get painted because this one came with a crack in it and it would be easier to just get another shipped to me than go through sanding and filling and etc. This will give me good practice with measuring it for cutting though so I'm using this as a learning experience.

Yes, I measured it and it just needs some excess plastic cut away to make room for the fog lights and the small notches in the front bumper but it does fit.

Don't get me wrong, BaysonR is great. They shipped it immediately after I ordered.

if you plan to paint any of these Mugen Lip Kits, trust me on this, get it fiberglassed!

abs plastic cannot hold up as a daily driver!

buy some fiberglass and juss fiberglass the inside (the bottom half of lip which doesnt touch car) or the whole outside. if not your gonna be buying a few mugen lips from now on
