Intake Noise

I just installed an eBay intake that be used as a Short Ram or a Cold Air Intake. I have it as a Short Ram right now and when I am idling or have the car at half throttle, the noise it makes it equivalent to how a kitchen sink sounds. Also, when it idles, it makes a moaning sound. I installed a K&N Filter on it a week ago and it is still making the same noises. Is that how intakes are suppose to sound, or is there something wrong. Thanks.

Post a clip of it w/ the intake and w/ no intake.

I don't have a clip of it running with the stock intake but it was completely normal.

It now has a K&N Filter on it but it still makes the same noises.

That noise is completely normal, reason why you're hearing this loud whiny noise and not before is because the stock airbox/resonator restricted from you from hearing it. You're letting your car breath better now so the sound will be there. If you were to hear mine the whiny noise and idle sound is pretty loud due to bigger piping lol
