I was doing some research on some bigger rotors for our Accords without getting a BBK as those are insanely expensive. I noticed that the Integra Type R is a 4 lug and has a slightly bigger rotor and thicker rotors than the Accords do. If I remember correctly the stock size front rotors are around 10.2 in and I'm unsure about the rear.

The specs for the Integra Type R rotors are 11.1 in front and 10.2 in rear.

I was wondering if I purchased the rotors and brake pads brand new, if it would bolt right on without any modifications.

yes, as long as u have the correct rotors, pads and brackets, any caliper will work

I'm running V6 calipers, (ITR, NSX, Legand all work too) and 95 VTEC Prelude rotors. They are 11.1" and 4 lug.

I pad about $250 for everything. Its the cheapest BBK you can get IMO. Everything bolts right on without any modifications.

aren't the legend and ITR calipers the same? tht's what i have on my car

Okay, just to double check and make sure I have everything correct since I'm not too knowledgeable about brakes. So what I'll need for the upgrade are:

Integra Type R Rotors
Integra Type R Brake Pads
Accord V6 Calipers

And if I do need the brackets, would I just take them off the V6 Accord as well? Also, how big of a performance difference are the 4 banger calipers and the V6? I noticed that the rear rotors were the same size so I probably wouldn't have to change those with the Integra ones. However, I was curious if the V6 caliper fits and if it does improve performance, I might as well get a pair for the rears.

Thanks Roy! I'll be sure to post up a DIY once I do this conversion to show people how easy and cheap of a mod it is.

Im running 15" wheels with this setup guys! Stock 15" wheels. All you need is the V6 calipers with the t23 brackets and rotors from a 1995 vtec prelude. (And some pads)

Its not that confusing.

So upgrading to a bigger rotor equals better stopping power ? So if i were to get some rotora slotted rotors from a integra type R would that be better than getting the rotora slotted rotors that's already made for our model accord ? sorry for the noob question and thread jacking :hide:

heres a link of the rotora slotted rotors for the accord

Yeah, it would definitely be an upgrade. I'm not sure for the V6 guys but I know that the 4 bangers have 10.2 inch discs front and rear. The Integra Type R and 96 Vtec Prelude have 11.1 inch front discs. And for the price, you can't really complain for this upgrade.
