Okay well give it another day, and try not to touch any of the painted pieces too much. They should harden soon.
There is a mark in the paint on my shifter piece where I put too much pressure on it with my finger because I put it in RIGHT after painting it. Now, I'd have to take a screw driver to it just to leave a scratch. haha
But yeah, just let it dry another day and it should harden.

also (just wondering) did you clean the pieces off after you sanded them?

Yeah I kinda wiped them off. The oh shít handle and the sunroof liner / sill are the only issues which is probably due to them being a rubber material
