So do you guys think buying this motor for $500 would be worth it.
By that I mean to work on it, to see it my engine bay one day.
I know i can sell it for more, though I would rather use it.

The big untouchable picture would be swapping this engine in and using the AWD RL tranny

BOOM! 1st AWD 6th gen accord! :lolrun:

No?

No. There is more to the AWD system than that. Why would you want to swap in an engine that would give you so much power, just to weigh it down with AWD?

If I could weigh my car down just so I can have AWD, I would lol.. If that's what you're saying. NO, getting this setup is pretty much unrealistic unless you have endless cash and a reliable race shop.

None of the parts, internal or external, from the J35A8 will work on your J30A1.

you're going to need a manual transmission to swap in with the J35A8, it will not bolt up to the 98-02 Accord A/T 4 speeds. Even if it did the TL ECU would not be able to control the A/T tranny.

Not sure if you could use the Automatic from the 07-08 TL, because I dont know if it will mount/bolt up to the 6th gen., nor if the CV axles would work on the 07-08 A/T tranny.

Good luck wiring all this up in your 6th gen, it's a pain in the ***. Someone would need to know schematics for both the Accord and Acura TL, then be able to apply that knowlege for both cars in order to wire up the ECU, tranny, cluster and other components into an Accord platform.

J35A8 swaps are still new and people are still figuring them out. Only your smartest of the smartest have figured out how to make these work.
