How is the J36 created? I know about the J35 and the J37. But I cant figure out how the J36 is derived. Is it actually 3.6 litres or is it something like the G23 built engine?

correct me if im wrong but its a j32 engine bored out with j35 internals and you can use either the j35 or 37 heads up top

edit... some of the stuff include
J30A4 heads, ported
07 TL-S cams
ported intake runners and intake
J32A3 block
J37 forged crank
J37 forged rods
05 RL forged pistons and rings
J37 OE bearings
J32A3 gaskets

the j36 is just an all around MUT of a motor since its made up of earlier and later parts
