for your hood problem, i think you should do like a custom stock looking hood. like, take the center part of the hood and cut it out, raise it, and do it like that. itll have a cowl induction look to i, but itd look sick, imo.

lol, whoa brad, i'm a perfectionist too, and do my OWN work for this exact reason, and can tell you that "nobody who see's the engine bay is automatically going to think it's stroked to j36" either. Guaranteed they will think it's a simple j32 swap, thus, keeping the valve cover shroud will maintian somewhat of a sleepy look. granted, i've thought about having a 3.6L plate machined/painted to mimic the stock badge, so i understand your logic here...all in due time!!!

as for the MT, damn buddy, this is the second "dreaded AT" comment you've made about the car. how long has my swap been complete? 3 weeks! when i save a little more $$, you can bet on the fact that the 6mt will be in there! you haven't said one positive thing about the car since i've posted pics here OR v6p :ugh2:

I apologize if my comments have seemed so negative, they're purely constructive criticism so please don't take offense to them. I appreciate the fact that you do your own work, have poured so much time & money into your accord, and I can't wait to see the transmission swap when that time comes.

^^thanks for the pics. i'm being such a retard about the hood right now cuz i'm not sure exactly what road i'm going to take. i'm kinda leaning toward the stock ssm with a bug-eye wrx scoop, cut down to 1", and then color-matched ssm. the lame thing is that i only need like 3/4" to squeeze it under there...

thanks again for all the comments! 6ga and its members are kinda...badass!

and brad, thank you as well. i'm totally up for constructive criticism, but for some reason you just hurt my feelers...roflmao

and dinzdale, i did lower my innovatives 1/2", and the motor fit snugly under the hood that way until i got the p2r plenums

You need to get your *** up here in portland and we can pull a few runs together lol :naughty:.

Medford is very far away. Do you come up here a lot?, I wish I knew someone like you before I took my car to some dickheads for my 5 speed swap.
