    Hey guys,

This is going to be my build thread/journal for my Nogaro B5 S4 Avant. I had away from the B5 Community for about 5 years after selling my Imola Sedan. During that time away, I was driving a B6 S4 and then an E90 335i. As the miles on my 335i were steadily climbing I was looking for a more reasonable daily driver. At the time, I was looking for a Jetta TDI Cup Edition and almost closed on a car in Ohio. However, it was sold prior to me being able to have a PPI performed on it. As fate would have it, I started my search for B5 S4 Avant. It started with me posting a wanted ad here in the classifieds. Astonishingly, I received a reply from the previous owner through PM.

When I had first saw the ad the car was way out of my budget and out of any sane person's budget. However the car was well sorted and only had 94.7k on it. It even came with a ton of maintenance records and the original window sticker. It originated from CO and made it to WA where I purchased it without even looking at it in person, and had it shipped to CT (CO->MT->WA->CT). My plan is to keep my 335i as my daily driver and this as my project (complete opposite of the initial goal). There are quite a few mods on it already and the first step is preventative maintenance and to progressively take it full stage III.

    Previous Owners' Mods:
Airlift Air Suspension - V2 Management
DP's - Assuming SSAC as they have no markings on them
    Daz Tuned
    AWE Twin 1
    2.0T Coilpack Conversion
    Forge 007 DVs
    Samco Hose Kit
    SRM Side mounts
    APR Snub Mount
    034 Track Density Transmission Mounts
    Stern Motor Mounts
    B&M Short Throw Shifter
    VEI Boost Gauge
    RS4 Roof Spoiler

    My Mods:
    Old Piggie/Vast Tune
    RS4 Engine Covers
    R8 Oil and Coolant Cap
    BBS CH Wheels w/MPSS
    ECS Street Shield
    OEM RS4 Mirrors
    AERO Wipers
    OEM Valeo Ecodes
    RS4 Grill
    Stasis Alcon 355mm Front Brakes
Wrinkle Red Valve Covers and Urotuning Coilpack Conversion Adapters
    034 X34 Intake
    034 Lobster Claws
    Painted Y-Pipe

Day I got it off the truck

Beautiful car man I have always loved those Audi's. Engine cover looks awesome, what kind of numbers does it put down?

    Good looking wagon, John.

    Need some more pics.

Question, did you paint the blue tubing yourself? If so, what colour paint did you use?

The previous owner had it tuned and painted the y pipe blue. I am assuming it is in the 300 (+/- 20) whp range. Not really sure though. Also, the y pipe I'm pretty sure was done with plastidip. it was peeling in places that regular paint wouldn't do. I have an extra that I am going to have professional painted to clean it up.
