^^same problem I have. But I'm still looking. But back to the topic. If you really want another 6th gen then get one. But if you really want to go with another platform, the mid 90's 240 would be a lot of fun. PS to find a nice accord you may try looking in neighboring states you may find a better deal since you said finding a nice one around your area is hard to do.

I can understand your plight here, but the cars you've listed are in general either A) Hard to find in any respectable condition, OR B) Too Pricey when found in good condition..

If I may suggest an alternative, you might have some luck finding some euros for around 5k in manual. I don't know much about the market around little rock, but I bet you can find some mid-early 90's bmws or VWs in manual for around 5k, probably in fairly decent condition as well.

If you are really married to your list, then you will definitely be looking out of state, probably here in SoCal or the NE for those cars. I know I've seen a few with higher mileage for around 5k out here as well as a few integras if you are interested (got the impression from your list that it might work for you..), and 6thgens are a dime a dozen out here, but if you stay confined to your area, I'm pretty confident your selection will limited.
Best of Luck though!

Bmw= blah VW tho I may look around for a late 80's GTI tho. I know were a couple of 240Z's are but they have a 350 swapped into them and honestly its to much power:weight ratio there for a dd I am thinking about this 97 Miata with 89k on it tho and all the civic hatchbacks around here have basically been riced out checked into the 240sx market and its 0. so yeah I'll keep looking around:madrun:

I would personally get a datsun z. why just the 240? the 280s are a little bit easier to find.
Also Mk1 mr2s are pretty reliable and maintenance is that bad. They are just a pain to do engine work on.

there are also 260z's (the last of the carburated ones i think) and 280z's

Then nissan took over made the thing heavier and added a turbo option and slaped the zx to the end. I think it was in 78
z=datsun
zx=nissan

Option 2 or 3 in the top is what I would do. Good luck finding a 240sx that's not trash already. Of the other choices, what seems reasonable for you is the miata. Sounded like you already even had one picked out from your posts. I would do that.

I've came down to a couple of choices now. I am looking for a early 90's civic non DX that hasn't been molested yet or a 1993 Acura Integra GS-R.
