Yesterday I bought a 2000 Accord EX Coupe from a friend of a friend. It is pretty high mileage but most of those are from his freeway commute over the last five years.

170,000 miles

edit: I can post pictures now!
It was in a pretty minor accident last winter and he had body work done and got it painted blue (edit: photo in gallery). There is still a visible dent in the rear quarter panel but it doesn't look major, should be an easy fix. The paint could use some attention from a hand-wash, clay bar, and polishing. I have a box full of goodies on it's way from Amazon, detailing the exterior/interior/carpets/wheels will be next weekend.
Mechanically it is pretty solid. Brakes were replaced not long ago and it has two new tires up front. Unfortunately that means I was unable to check them for uneven wear but the steering holds true and there is no play in the wheel. Passed safety and emissions with flying colors today, had to re-connect the brake light wire going to the leds in the wing but that was simple. The guy at the shop did point out the UV dye visible around the A/C compressor which means it is on it's way out. Seems like it'll be pretty easy to do most of the work myself, with fall almost here I'm not in a big hurry. I'm sure I'll be in the DIY forum a lot.
I don't really have a lot of big plans for it. In the next week I'll replace the passenger window regulator (click click), cabin air filters, wetsand/polish the headlights, give it a good detailing, and get the windows tinted. Full tune-up and a new set of floor mats in the next month or so. I'd like to lower it about 1.5" all around, nothing severe just a moderate drop to reduce gap but that will have to wait until after the A/C is fixed.
