yup it serves as a wiring option so that you can go between dual 4 ohms and 8's i believe.

Protects the sub as well...

First time ive seen something like this as well!

i suppose...ive just always used single wires to connect the voice coils but fuses are definitely more elegant.

what size box do these go in?

im putting 3 of these is a sealed box that shared one airspace...2.74ish cu ft.


And i had a CVX 15... massive bass, pleased with the quality, but the 3 cvx's would require ridiculous amounts of juice compared to three of these ;)

yea i kicked around the idea of doing three of those, however i would be underpowering them.

The lowest price i found them for were 104 a piece for the 4 ohm DVC 10's at dealercostcaraudio.com

not too bad!

yeah i got the sub for $134 from dimension audio shipped (egay store :eek: haha )
and a pioneer gm-d7400m amp ($132 from Amazon) to push it
all of it should be here by the weekend so i can build the box and finish the install :thumbup:

you going for a custom install or are you just doing a regular traditional sealed enclosure? (boring) haha lol
