"dual LED"...as in two LED strips per headlight?

Yup that's 2 on each side!

After seeing some fellow 6thgen with 01-02 clusters, I was like I didn't know they look different then the 98-00. The interface and red needles looks way better! So I decided to go to junk yard and pull one of an 02 Coupe V6.

Took out my original circuit mother board to put into the 01-02 one.

Red needles ftw! Congrats on the hunt, James. One step closer to the 6.5 gen. :naughty:

Btw, looking at your front end shot w/ the LEDs turned on, I noticed that the driver side's headrest is ridiculously high. :jae: You must be a tall guy lol.

Yeah man, I noticed without any led bulb upgrade for 02 cluster it looks so much brighter then my original 2000 cluster. Yep getting closer to 6.5 with the 02 headrest and 02 cluster now haha. Yeah I'm pretty tall for an Asian, I'm at 6"2 tall half Hong Kong half Viet

I might be looking into a 01-02 ssm front bumper conversion, just waiting for a good condition one to pop by at picknpull junk yard. That place is like a dream land, dirt cheap price, many accords lol

That's nice to hear; I didn't know it's brighter than 6.0 gen's. I think you can also get the colored (Painted Brushed Aluminum) power window switch (the trim) w/o any big hassle, but the one for the instrumental panel requires the 6.5 climate control unit to go with. Haha that's what I thought. I wish I was tall like you tho. Alright, you gotta tell me the best place to have Hong Kong style crispy chow mein and/or egg noodle pho in Vancouver! I loooove those two.

I was gonna say, I still have my original front bumper, but it's pretty beat up & cracked w/ right side bracket by the fender being broken. Besides, I'm trying to keep it for some custom work as my spare set. :naughty: I'm sure that a good one to pop up at the dream land is just a matter of time. ;)

Whole richmond (asian town...) its 99.9% chinese. Even signs are mostly in chinese. The city wanted to get rid of the chinese signs, and make them all english. haha that did not pass by the city hall!

if u ever come to canada, james and i will bring you out for bubble tea, japanese/korean bbq all you can eat, and much more!!

Does swapping the circuit board from the 98-00 to the 01-02 mean you don't have any issues with the temp needle reading? When people just swap the cluster, the temp guage no longer works properly.

I swapped the computer board over n I had no issues at all, been running it over a month now without problem. It did not effect the temp guage or anything, I think it only messes up is when they change the cluster only but not the computer board.

Yeah, man. I'm serious about this! Lol.

I started visiting Richmond (since ~'98ish), about once / twice an year, and yes indeed Richmond has become more like a Chinacity!

Thanks Henry! I'm down for that! Asian food is always awesome in Canada!
