Key stuck in ignition

So when I try to take my key out the ignition, the key movers a quarter maybe but not enough to come out. Just want to know if anybody has cone across this problem before ?

turn the steering wheel back and forth a couple times while turning the key.. probably just locked it in

oh damn, ive heard of this before your ignition switch might be bad not sending the signal that the car is parked therefore not being able to release the key.

might want to jiggle the key, while shifting the car into park. good luck man, see if anyone else responds im sure some one else has gone thru this & can give u a better opinion

this happens to me. just turn on your car and switch your gears and go back to parking. shut off the car and it should come out.

Oh wow I got lucky tonight as it was raining cats and dogs. I went inside the house and my girlfriend comes in with my keys and ask me why I left the keys in the car. I don't know what happened but i got to figure this out
