knocking nosie

i have a knocking noise coming from the right front when i hit a bump and when i start from a dead stop. i pulled my front wheel off and all my joints look fine and i just put a brand new cv axle in. motor mounts are good and my breaks look fine. the only thing i saw is the strut has a rubber piece that holds a shield that covers the shock could that be causing a knocking noise? or what else could it be?

did you drop your car cus it might be your springs making contact as you hit a bump. After i drop mines it started making knocking sounds but I put some rubber sleeves around the springs to minimize the sound. Hope that helps!

thanks but that cant be it cant be it mine is sitting stock. if my struts are the problem ill have a reason to buy coilovers.
