American Le Mans at Laguna Seca 2009

Didn't take too many photos this time, thought I'd sit back and enjoy it as much as I could. and I was practicing taking video, although that is not my cameras strong point. the finish was very exciting, but questionable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BwXugrQXaM

i got to go to a race at the beginning of august at road america...yeah i want to go back next year soooooooooo bad. best time ive ever had at a race, even when like 20 of us went to the drag track.

2008 American Le Mans at Laguna Seca.

The race was under caution for at least an hour (4 hour race) which was a bummer. i was hoping to get some nice night shots but my tripod was too short to shoot over the fences. not much going on in the pit area and no freebies. I am pretty disappointing with the photos, i was hoping to get some real winners.

Overall it was amazing. If you have yet to see them, it is a blast. The performance is unbelievable, as is the sound of these vehicles.

my dad works for the guy who owns part of the risi ferraris...see the logo immediately to the left of the light (the blue and white one)...thats bou-matic. i even worked there one summer...

so thats how we got our VIP treatment at RA. anyway...the #62 f430 is now florescent green i was like wtf is this? salo/melo finished 2nd in gt2...lame...they should be dominating this season after the 24 hours win...but they had a BS finish up here at RA.

pretty good race except for the caution. what happened to all the gt1 cars? only the vettes were in the standings, but i see gt1 cars in your pix? i didnt catch the entire race...

cant waittttt to see another in person...im officially addicted...

I Love this type of racing i wish i could have been there
