had this set up once. it was alright. didnt like it because it made too much noise from the gap you get on your door from the attachment. IF you are going to use it to actually carry stuff, i wouldnt trust it, mines wasnt as stable. like everyone else mention, craigslist is your best bet. you can find a set for around 200 and a couple more bucks for the basket.

I would never want to use the rack if your planning on going that route. I could not trust just having it held on by straps. If I was you I would first spend time looking on Craigslist.

Yea be patient . Keep checkibg craigslist. Ive seen yakima from 1-2 hundred. all u would need are the q clips to hold on. Im planning on gettin one end of this year. I just like it for the style thats why im waiting and not wanting to pay alot

I would never have a use for it. Just for looks. But i see what you mean.

If u want a roof rack keep checking craigslist nd if u really want want u would travel ao check around i found a couple

I'll check CL.

Don't get a roof rack unless you are going to use it for something. Save your money and get coilovers down the road

Im buying Tek_Rice's f2's once he gets them off and cleans em up.

Im always playing my music, the wind noise wouldn't bother me. But yeah I'll check CL.

I'd definitely agree with the masses here and say go for CL. Thats where I found most of my stuff. My dad had one of the RAGE (brand that makes the rack in op) baskets on our Durango, and the quality was good, but it mounted onto the OEM bars. I wouldn't trust anything but Yakima or Thule to mount on the roof of our cars.

I was able to pick up a complete set up (Bars, fairing, bike mounts) for $90, which was a hell of a deal. After that you'd just need to buy the necessary Q clips (if its Yakima) which run about $30 for both the front and back. So you could realistically get lucky and have the whole set up for $150.
