it's not going to hold up very long. Mine started cracking and peeling 6 months after I tinted my taillights. I'm going to try vinyl next.
i used automotive window tint film. :p I wanted to try out the look beforehand with something that's easily reversible in case i didn't like it. I'm assuming OP used window tint as well?

Yea, i'm not expecting this to last very long. Esp since i payed $10 for it lol.
But yea, I just used window tint film.

yeah, i dont think tint is durable enough for the outside of a car...vinyl should be good though.

More than likely not. Whenever this starts crapping out, i'm just gonna get it professionally done.
I kinda did this just to see how it'd look haha..and I likez it

Looks good man! Have you thought about tinting the reverse lights red?

Thanks! But nah, I wanna just have all the tails tinted the same.
Hopefully i'll get the center done soon..i just need someones help to keep the tint from rolling back up when peeling it haha.

Yea, twp cops can be dicks about stuff like this, but I did test it out in direct sunlight and you can see the signal flicker and brakes pretty well.
At night, you can't even tell the difference, so I think once I put LED's in them, i'll be set! haha
