lots of noise from the rear

My first thought was get an alignment to correct any toe/camber. But you did that, so nevermind.

My question would be why does the sound go away when the car is turning? Seems more and more like wheel bearing is the issue though.

You have the right to complain. Cars go through phases, I had one where I was doing a few big expenses, one after another that were fixes and not mods. But for a while everything has been fine. It'll be alright man. Just give her a kick on the tire, it'll make you feel better. :lawl:

The sound goes away because there is less weight on the bearing and the sound comes back once the car straightens out.
In my case, it goes away only when I make left turns, so it's my rear driver's wheel.
At least I know it's only one bearing for now haha, although I should probably replace both rears.

This is my first "phase" lol: motor, ticket, tires, motor mounts, more tires, and now this and a lost cell phone haha.
