I need to remove + clean my TB b/c my gas pedal sticks first thing on cold mornings (OK after that). I see these steps at the end of Honda's service bulletin for 2.3L throttle body cleaning - "Adjust the cruise control actuator cable" and "Adjust the throttle cable (refer to shop manual)." Did any of you have to do this after reinstalling the cables?

No. You remove the cable ends from the spring loaded pulley, and then unbolt the cable tensioner and bracket from the throttle body. Pull if off to the side and out of the way, if you didn't accidentally turn the adjuster while working on the car, it's in the exact same spot it was before.

im 99% sure that the haynes manual has a pretty detailed step by step on how to remove the intake manifold/throttle/iacv. its really an easy job, especially since the f23 manifold has pretty good clearance. if you dont have one already, a haynes manual is worth its weight in gold! i dont do any project without knowing where that book is.

well, ive used the f23, the f22 and now the h23 manifold... and i guarantee, the f23 was easier to work with than the H series... i think at the least you can get the upper plenum off without having to remove the entire manifold... but its been a looong time LOL.

as far as coolant lines go... id just remove em, after draining teh coolant, and go and give it a new fill up just since you got it all disconnected... coolant is so cheap, and i like to change it frequetly.
