Lower my car

Basically I want to lower my car. Im trying to figure out what exactly I need to buy. Ive looked through a bunch of threads, I see some people use springs or they use coil-overs am I correct? Or are these the same thing and I need to buy both? Coil-overs are adjustable right?

Im sorry Im a little confused and not completely understanding some of this jargon.

if you searched harder you would know your own question, coilovers lower your car and you can adjust them lowering springs just lower your car etc etc.

springs and shocks merely lower the car

coil over sleeves and shocks make it adjustable

coilovers themselves are a combination of the two and as far as ive heard, are the easiest to adjust and best deal
