I have completed the auto to manual conversion except I'm still running on the auto ecu. I wanted to make sure that putting the manual ecu would work before I spend $100 to get my keys programmed to it so I plugged it in and took off the ignition harness and tried to start the car with a screw driver to temporarily get past the immobilizer. It would not start and Im not sure if the ecu is bad or maybe some of my wiring(clutch interlock bypass) has been done correctly. If anyone can tell me if this test I did shouldnt have worked or what I can do instead that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

LOL, the reason it would not start is because you can't bypass the Immobilizer by taking out the ignition shaft. The immobilizer is programed to the key and ECU as one. If the chip in the key is not read, then the car will just turn over and not start.

You should have just bypassed the clutch interlock bypass. You can disable the immobilizer but it will cost you just as much if you programmed the keys to it. Get your keys programed and your car will run fine with the manual ecu.
