I know. :(

Chris, since you have the same exhaust, are/have you noticed a leak where the mufflers join the Y-pipe?

I know they're clamped on, but when i was doing my seafoam, there was a small drip coming from that location. Im thinking about either doing a few tac-welds or maybe even just welding the mufflers to the Y-pipe.

Whoa....getting a little carried away with the pics there, "Snap-n-Go"!

Mike, if you are waiitng for Chris to upgrade his suspension so you can in turn swipe it, just be at his place when it gets delivered.

You assholes hound me about pics and then complain when I post them. Jesus.....

:p

And....lolwut? Even though Chris is an excellently clean person and I know his suspension was never beat on or rode hard, Im still not a fan of buying used suspension. I mean, depending on it's age and mileage, maybe. Also depends on when the new comes in and what-not.

Hmm I have never seen a visible leak, but I do hear a sort of waffling sound like there is a loose connection/small opening somewhere. I haven’t gotten under it and looked since I don’t have ramps yet. How bad is it? I’d check your fittings and clamps first, you’re actually suppose to do that a few weeks after you install the catback to check to make sure everything is still tight, but I never did.

Hey don’t lump me in with that degenerate! :lawl:

Well I am keeping my Yellows, but swapping to GC’s. So he would still need struts. BUT he is buying GC’s with me....right Mike? ;)

Kinda with you here. I bought my first suspension setup (Yellows + Pro Kit) used from a member here. One year later, the struts blew. Granted it was only $320 for everything, but I should have just bought new the first time. But I did buy my current Sportlines used, though they were in great shape, and springs last a pretty long time. I would never buy used struts again though. Springs, yes if they are in pretty good condition.

He IS a degenerate, too. :lawl:

I checked them a few weeks after and they were pretty tight. I ended up welding it anyway, so it's a moot point now. :lawl:

As for the suspension...IDK. Definitely going Koni. Then, more than likely, GCs. I was just gonna let you guinea pig them and if I liked how they looked or if you liked how they rode, Id get them, LOL! ;)

Derek, I'll tell ya what. Let's pick a date to meet at Chris' place. All 3 of us can do suspensions on his car and my car. Deal?

Although, it'd probably be cheaper for me to do it here at work than to drive 8 hours to his place, lol. That ride back would be a nice way to settle the new setup though.

Awwww Muffin.......don't be upset.

:lawl:

I do like the GC idea, as long as the custom rates(12/10), will not shoot the price up. I also bought my yellows gently used, haven't had an issue with them, and the Sportlines were BNIB. I have the receipt for the lifetime warranty on the yellows, so, if they wanna blow...they can blow.

As for the suspension work, so what, just you and Chris get suspension upgrades, why, cause I am from :canada:!!!!

THAT'S PLACIST!!!!

I am actually closer to Chris than you, so maybe I should make the drive down to get it done.

I think it'd actually be Nationalist. :lawl:

Fine. Why dont all 3 of us drive to Chris' place and all 3 of us can do our suspensions. But you'd have to bring some sort of Maple-y syrup concoction with you.

You might be right.

Works for me, I can bring a few bottles of the good stuff, you can enjoy it straight up with a chaser of butter on some hotcakes.
