Are you only able to turn the fogs on when your headlights are on or separately?

Factory setting was with headlights ONLY and they flipped off when you turned on your highbeams. I did the re-wire so they come on with the parking lights. Unfortunately, that also overrides the highbeam flip, so, when my highbeams are on, so are my fogs.

Yeah, that factory setting SUCKS.

I want mine wired so I can turn them on without the headlights on at all, since I will be running an HID kit on them.

That's gonna be an issue I'll have to deal with as well, if I go with HIDs. I usually just leave them on, so they flash with my alarm. I'll have to learn to turn them off so they dont do that, lol.

Your car came with the factory fog switch, or did you put one in after?

I put one in. I bought the whole system; lights, harnesses and switch. Followed OEM instructons, too.

Got the lights from a local dealership, at cost.

Got the Lamin-X from, I think, 3M. I cant remember, lol.

I am sure "at cost" is not the $250+ it costs to get them up here.
