i'm going to put them in my oem headlights since i don't have the dough for a sweet projector retro.

1. Place bulb into headlight housing without touching it to your skin or sides of the housing.
2. Connect ballast to bulb (can't screw this up)
3. Plug other end of ballast into the wire lead that used to plug into the halogen bulb.
4. Done.

It's a little different for the relay harness, but fairly simple.

your current headlight wiring already gets power from the batt./alt. you only have to run the HID bulb through one extra step.

Halogen bulb-
headlight wiring directly plugged into halogen bulb
No frills HID-
Headlight wiring-> ballast->HID bulb

Thanks man, that's what I figured but wasn't really sure.

the rebased HID Kits are dummy proof... the way these things hook up, theres no way you can mess the install up

Holy long thread about light bulbs batman.

I will concur, Silverstars suck my nuts, and they always have. Once you go HID, you'll never own anything else again.

I'm about to order some of the Kaixen 5000k bulbs for the TL, the Philips bulbs in there now color shifted a bit and look like halogen bulbs now.......
