I have a question for those have completed this retrofit, is it better to trim the bezel or better to trim the shroud (for aiming purposes)? Any thoughts?

The rubber washer goes in between the reflector bowl and the projector. Since they don't include a 9006 adapter you can either cut one of the 2 -3 adapter they provide to fit the back or leave it out and just screw on the retaining nut.

I also am having an issue with the end of the projector (and mini gatling gun shroud) touching the headlight lens. This pushes the aim of the projectors inward, giving my headlights a "cross-eyed" appearance.

Any tips on pulling the projectors farther into the housings? I am using the stock 1998 housings and Morimoto H1 projectors.

I took the housings apart last night & made a few mods to the shroud to make it seat back onto the projector farther and now it does not contact the lens.

WooHoo!
