Well im selling some J32 parts, including the engine with a toast cylinder, IM and TB.
Could just get the heads/cams, that would help.

Lot of people are getting the Honda 3.5 IM spacer and increasing runner length that way to get more torque down low.

Horsepower/torque same thing, you want more horsepower because thats actual work being done, just most people have this idea of horsepower being related to higher revs. Think about those rowing machines called Urgs. They can give you a horsepower curve of how powerful each stroke is. Your power tends to go down as you try and increase the rate however so a balance must be found just like in car engines (usually low-midrange oriented).

You're not going to get any big gains without rebuilding, swaping, or at least taking apart the motor and getting in there. For a little more push, max out your air flow. Intake, bigger manifold, header, exhaust. Otherwise, if you are looking for some nice power start thinking about some major work.

Piston size along with stroke are more involved, than just the number of cylinders.

That's why I mentioned stroke before the number of pistons. Bore size obviously plays a role in power output but, falls second to stroke in creating torque.

only 1 true way to get cheap hp. nitrous. its not advisable but its cheap and will give you the desired touque and hp you are aiming for.

but again, it is not advisable due to mileage on our engine and transmission.

Shorter geared trans will help acceleration. Doesnt change numbers but makes use of the power more effectively
