Motor Mounts??

So the other day i took my car to the shop and they said i needed a new motor mount(passenger side) .....the shop didnt tell me the cost, supossedly the guy who "looks up the cost" wasnt there at the time...sounds very shady so i just left...so can anyone tell me around how much they cost?

It definitely sounds shady. Look for cracks on the mount that's the best way to tell its time to replace it.

Each mount isn't to expensive except the rear mount which is hydraulic and a pain to replace. But you can check the mounts yourself by have another person look at the engine while u put the car in drive and reverse while holding the brake and seeing how the engine jumps. It shouldn't jump to much if the mounts are good. And also check physically the condition of each mount. If you have tools and a jack you can probably change the front 3 yourself.

yea the guys at the shop actually did that axact same thing and i saw the engine jumping alot and then i got in the car and did it and i did feel it jump also i just didnt want to deal with them because they seemed kind of shady...i'll probably take it to my russian mechanic and see whats up

if you have the cash. just change all 4 if you never changed them depending on the yr n mileage of ur car. It will feel a lot smoother when shifting and driving. Go OEM though

About 400 bucks. Check the honda websites but if u want you can get aftermarket mounts but I suggest you get the rear mount OEM and the other 3 you can get aftermarket.
