Plop, I'm so sorry, I do not have much time to come here anymore. I'm in my University Formula SAE team and that's a real time eater. We are the first french team, but in our country, mechanical sport are way underrated. So we can't compete with germany and UK, but according to our budget and human forces, we're not ridiculus at all. We're 8 on the project that year, which is really not enough for that big project.

Anyway, my AV6 is still working like a charm, and took her a little bit offroad. Still comfortable on the rocks, i think its ready for the roadtrip in EX-USSR.

Some pics I took on the heights of Monaco :

What engine you running in FSAE?

We ran a Kawi Ninja 600, pre-fi, converted to run a AEM EMS system, with E85 instead of gas.

We were running a KTM 525 with a home made electronic injection. But this year we are switching to an Aprilia 550 SXV using the oem injection.

Hi guys, it's been a while since my last post, despite that, I have done a lot of work on my Accord.

In december, my HP powersteering line broke and I almost set fire to the car as it was spilling on the exhaust. I changed it :

It was a pain in the *** to change, but ok, not the worst job I've done.

Then I have tried to save my headlight washer pump, but it was so corroded I couldn't make it work and had to change it. I also did my filter bracket and vtec gasket at the same time :

You've seen the diy for the driver seat, I changed the cover, looks a lot better.

I also bought in the us a set of oem floor mat, it's been quite hard to find :

It wasn't easy to find a dealer accepting to send oem parts outside the USA, but Honda euro did not have it, how should i do???? Thanks Honda...

And finally a lot of work on the chassis, 4 new Kyb excel G shocks, new hood struts, new front upper arms, new left steering boot, new pivots boots, new right pivot, new strut rod bushings and I may forget some. New left drive shaft too, and new gearbox seals.

I still have to do my valve play and change several seals and gasket on the upper engine like the distributor seal etc.

I have also put Accord Type R rims, I think they looks pretty good on the AV6.

And first real drive since all my problems with the cars, on the col de Turini :

Ah yep I bought an Accord Type R, but that's another story, but here are some pics :

I wasn't lucky with that one either ^^ Bought it, and had to do a headgasket a few day after. Now I have fitted bilstein B12 suspension kit, handmade stainless exhaust, team dynamics pro race rims, and plan to fit a speed regulator and auto climatisation from an other accord.

That's all thanks for reading :)

You have been busy! So jealous of European roads, what amazing drives you must be able to go out for. Wish we had anything even close where I live.

Anyway the AV6 is looking good, I need to get some new floormats before they become yet another item for this car that are hard to find. Too bad you couldn't save the headlight washer, but at least replacements are still available.

The Type R looks good, congrats! Always amazes me how different it is from your other Accord. Post some interior shots when you can. :)

Great updates, thanks for sharing.

The Euro Type R.......awesome.

Must be a blast compared to the Accord.

Both cars look great, even for being mostly stock, the Accord looks very well maintained.

Thanks all, but the pictures makes them look way better than they really are.

Well I don't now much Ohio, but when I see the landscape in the us, the amazing roads and all that, I don't think there is so much to be jealous. Here the roads are pretty narrow to really enjoy the cars, and super busy. Even in the mountains, there is always a netherland guy with a camping car, or germans in groups of bmw bikes taking all the road and going slow as f*** :)

The floormat seems easily available in the US; Honda Europe doesn't have anymore and doesn't want to import them. For the headlight washer they are the same on the S2000 and CRV. A friend made it work again on his CRV. Guess it was less worn than mine.

Thanks for the ATR, there are no only two things left to do, a paint job, the varnish is peeling off, and the ceiling fabric that is falling down. The Chassis is like new, and the engine now that I have done the head gasket is OK. Still have a ticking noise, thought of the lma"s but really not sure. valve clearance iis perfect. I don't think it's a top end or a bottom end. May be the injectors, but they looks ok, or maybe the belt or something else? The noise appears only when hot, and can be heard the moste à 2500 rpm when using the engine brake. So almost perfect let's say.

You'd be surprised however how it is similar underneath. I'm sur that the front end is swappable, or even the engines. The shocks are the same, but not the springs. Most of the parts looks identical.

Great updates, thanks for sharing.

Well, it's different, the power and torques come very late, so in normal conditions, it feels even slower. I think it's a bit faster but not that much. It doesn't really compare I think.

As you like it, here are some more pics :

By the way, maybe this weekend I'll make a video of the custom exhaust.
