Did the deer run away after this?? I would have finished it off and eaten it. Sucks to hear that, at least damage was minimal! Just get that CF hood/trunk combo!..

I can only assume... I slammed on the brakes, hit the deer, and rolled to a stop on the shoulder to look at the damage.

My grandpa said today that he's hit deer harder and watched them get up and run away...

I want a CF hood, but I'll likely just be logical and wait until a sedan hood shows up on the market here, go multicolored for a month or two and then repaint the entire car.

Damage could have been sooo much worse. Probably wasn't that big of a deer I bet. Good luck on the repairs!

About a 150 lb. doe, full grown and decent sized. My guess is the damage was so little because I hit her legs first and rolled her over the hood instead of slamming into her chest where the majority of mass is.

Thanks for the luck... I need as much as I can get.
