i bought a 4500k DDM tuning slim ballast kit, and here's the results!
i was really torn about what color to get. the last thing i want to do is anything that looks the least bit ricy, but i didn't want anything that could be confused with halogens. 4500k is perfect for me. i was scared because people said it would be yellow, but i didn't realize that they were speaking "yellowish" in the way of HIDs. If these are considered yellow, my halogens must have been deep orange, lol
here's a side-by-side of the two in full daylight - i know it's tough to see the difference, but i put them side-by-side in the license plate (right = HID left = halogen)
here are some shots i took with my point-n-shoot camera about an hour ago
i really like the white, and i don't think glare will be a huge issue for oncoming traffic
*note* in that last one, it was on an incline, i just wanted to show what sort of cutoff i'm getting.

the only weird thing i noticed when walking around the front is the reflections off the housing (my housing is still stock) here's a good example of what i'm talking about
