You don't ever claim your insurance. Only if it's your fault or the dude did not have insurance. Now it's on your driving record.

Hey Jmiller, if you tell them that your back hurts you can get a settlement for your car and like 1 year later get some money for your injury if you go to a doctor and stuff. I was rear ended in my car in 2005. It was so bad that I had to weld a quarter panel clip and new rear window glass. The insurance totaled my car but I bought it back and used the money to fix it and put some money in my pocket. I would not complain because it's really a blessing in disguise.

I'm not hurt, and I'm not the type of person to fake being hurt to get some money..

oh F*CK man! That looks like a new bumper cover is in order! Only after 6 days!??? That's a slap in the face right there by fate. As long as you're okay though, it doesn't look that bad. Smile Justin, could have been much worse, and at least now you can milk the system :hihi:!

I'm tight with my auto body guy, so I'm going to try and work something out with him where we gouge their insurance.

Definitely do that.
They'll estimate the cost of repair a bit high.
Insurance will pay, and you keep the difference

That's' what happened to me with my truck
They estimated to cost of repair about 1700 but the actual cost was about $1100,
I kept the difference.

that sucks man im sorry to hear it...

you may want to at least get checked out by a doctor i'm sure you will be hurting for a while and you may deserve some payment....what if it starts hurting a couple months down the road...if something is partially fractured...you wouldn't wanna settle and not have anything to pay for the visits and physical therapy...

I didnt mean to word it that way. I was hurt in my accident. Sometimes you dont feel it until way later. You might as well get a check up to make sure before everything is finalized.
