i wouldn't consider this a fail thread. it was urgent, and in this thread a post was made that made you think... "WAIT! I did f*ck with that. I'm gonna check it!" and with that thought spawned by a post in this urgent thread. you fixed your problem. Perhaps this is a win for a urgent thread. It was urgent. and it was fixed in good time. even if it was your screw up that first started the problem. that was the fail. not this thread. but we all have moments such as that.

You leave a 16 year old with a drill, self tapping screws, alot of free time and that is your end result.
Nobody in here can say they haven't done something like this before.
Glad it was a simple fix.
and I agree with slowrider87. Somebody will see this one day, go check their fuel pump ground and be in this same situation. So it's not a fail.
