Sweet! My dream car is to rebuild an old gt-r from the ground up.

You better dump it and put some staggered 10s and 11s on lol

I might lower it a couple inches, but first I am going to get those rims in my last post. I will probably put some front and rear strut bars before I do anything with the height.

Thanks for all comments everyone! Its nice to get support from you guys since the 240z forums arent that big lol. I am kinda entering uncharted waters, I have no idea about carborated cars LOL. But I am learning and reading as I go.

The car is absolutely beautiful. SOO lucky. you heard about it on craiglist? how did you convince him down another 500? you should feel guilty lol.

If i were you, i would just take care of the rust asap and paintmatch or paint black the strips on the front bumper/doors and the tail light panel ,it looks faded.

ugh why dont they make cars with such clean flowing lines anymore?

did you already get it insured?

please don't rice it out with the "widebody" fenders. they look cheap in the pics you posted. take it more in the resto-mod direction. the suspension overhaul and upgrading is a very good idea.

No I have not gotten the car insured yet, my insurance is taking forever to get back to me. I think it might need to be inspected before they insure it since its so old.

I'm not driving it right now, I plan on taking care of the surface rust asap. I'm probably going to sand it down, use some rust remover, prime it and seal it. Paint it later.

I am planning on putting some staggered 10's and 11's on ASAP. The stock rims just look fugly, I want this bish to launch like no bodys business.

Sorry I made some of you guys jealous lol....you can find one if u look hard probably. Just dont buy the 260z, they have fuel and carb problems. If you want a good year, get a 1974 or below 240z or 280z. Even if it is the 2.4, they still haul a$$. I still cant believe how *ucking lucky I am. *od Dammit, I got lucky...$hit. :p
