My stock suspension question...

when was the last time the strut mounts were replace? i know i get a nasting "growling/grinding" sound from the rear and it happened after i put new struts on my stock springs, but didnt replace the strut mounts.

Actually, none of the suspensions have been replaced or touched.

It sounds like it's coming from a mount or its like the shock is absorbing too much haha.

I guess after the car is lowered and there is still that cluck, it's gonna back to the drawing board.

I had that prob a few weeks ago but mine also clicked when i was turning...it ended up being my axle, the shoulder joint in there was messed up

Yeah but mines isn't clicking when turning though. My sisters DC4 was clicking while turning and it turned out to be the lower ball joint.

This clunk sounds something like a mount or something is wrong with the strut.

BUMP.. same issue here even after replacing driver CV joint/axle which WAS bad with clicking when turning... my thump sound is in the front on bumps

Check the sway bar end links front and back respectively to where the noise is coming from.

I'll do that and check up on my bushings. Anything else I should look at while under the car or have the whole wheel off?

Upper ball joints/lower ball joints, tie rod arms, cv boots, end links, sway bar brackets/bushings, upper/lower control arm bushings
