see but it didnt make the noise before with my stock suspension, but as soon as i put the teins on, it did. damn troubleshooting is the worst part of tuning.

I think my car is the same. I have stock suspension but i have rims. Whenever im driving on a sorta bumpy road, sometimes straight, it makes a weird rattling squealing kinda noise.

ohh and i was looking at some accord stuff on consumerguide and look what i found:

1998-2002 Honda Accord: Reliability
Trouble Spots

Suspension noise: Loose nuts on the rear stabilizer bar cause it to rattle. (1998)

I dont know if thats it or not..

Did you guys install the suspension yourselves? Everytime I've installed my suspension setups (always with pro-kit springs), I've had rattles initially after. Then I always go back, lift the car off the wheels, shake around, and find either a nut that I didn't put high strength thread locker on, a spring that i didn't seat right, a sway bar endlink that wasn't tightened, or other similar problems.

If you did the installs yourselves, make sure you've checked the following:

1. When compressing the spring on the strut, make sure you over compress it to allow the strut to tighten down all the way.
2. When releasing the spring, make sure it is seating correctly with the spring seat.
3. Most suspension pieces REQUIRE thread locker. medium strength will not work. HIGH STRENGTH THREAD LOCKER is a must!
4. Check for play before lowering the car.
5. Double check all nuts/bolts that you've touched.

My point is, 99 percent of the time, rattles and squeaks are the product of sloppy installs. We all get in a hurry to get things like this done so we can play with it. Just be sure to take your time and do it right the first time.

the rattle was there long before i touched my car. its just more noticible after i dropped it and put the 18s on there. when i roll arond on my stock wheels i dont hear it as much but the noise was there before i dropped it. but i will go back and check everything thanks for you input AFaccord
