OP, what are you going to do about that downpipe? Looks like it's about an inch and a half off the ground, maybe less. If you hit a big dip in the road that's gonna be it.

Re: My Turbo V6 Accord

Count down until his Autotragic tranny blows up....

Count Down Until his Zip Ties melt and he loses his intercooler piping

Countdown until his down pipe rips off his car..

BTW... for 4000 to rebuild your autotragic tranny, you can get a 6spd swap and have some change left over.... think about it....

But after looking at that build... it looks very sloppy and very hack job... it's also why I will not be going turbo on my J36. Going SuperCharger to avoid the pipping issue

Re: My Turbo V6 Accord

I really hate people who call BS espeacially when they're wrong.

Hopefully I'll be posting some good looking pictures anyday now thanks for all the supportive comments and screw you guys who call BS

Dude..... look what you've shown us. Do you really expect people to appreciate this as a quality build?? :eh:

You posted up this thread knowing you'd get feedback... as of right now, it just happens to be primarily negative. Learn from it, perhaps.

Re: My Turbo V6 Accord

Ok so thanks and no thanks i guess.

The rebar was removed because this is not my daily driver, its mostly going to be for the track and weekends. If i hit anything yeah i'm ****ed but i just wont hit nothing.

The Y pipe has since been moved up about 2 inches so its even with my exhaust cross pipe in the back still trying to get a hold of a camera to take some pics, will do ASAP. The intercooler piping is held up with plumbers tape and custom brackets as well if you look closely.

Yes, I am very aware that this is a cheap build but its a build that works for now until i get more $$$$. I plan on swapping out the parts as I can afford it, but the tranny is my next project. The auto tranny is staying period, with every boosted car I've owned I have found auto's are the way to go. I plan on throwing a 4 grand stall converter, new valve body, new linkage, etc. on the tranny to build it up.

Is this perfect? NO. Not by much. Does it work? Yes and it works well. I've done my research I know what the car can and cant handle and i know what i need to do in order to build it right. Also got dyno's in... not going to say anything until i am able to post my dyno sheets for proof, however i think everyone is going to be very surprised.

Thanks again to everyone who is and has been supporting this build. GL
