so here's some update. not very much but at least it's something. let me be the first to say that, this is my first time using bondo w/ fiberglass. my first try, i forgot to add the hardner cream. second try, i didn't mix very well which there's small holes on it. so i will try again later on tomorrow or whenever i can. hopefully it'll be better this time. i was thinking of duct taping it so it'll be flat so i could make it smoother. but we'll see.

do not use butt connectors! they SUCK! use 'Heat shrinkable tubing' which Wildman used for his speakers

here's my second try of bondo. i also sand it but i forgot to take a picture. i'll try to do that later.

here's the side of the car after getting it clay and wax.

the engine bay is DIRTY! and so i was cleaning it but haven't polished it. basically, i use very low pressure water hose and rinse it. then i use tire foam so it could clean the dirt out. after that, i'm suppose to use this sponge to wipe it clean but didn't have time. :D

and here's a picture of the painted headlights in the daylight. doesn't look that bad but still not really my style. but i'll keep it for now until i could find a replacement for it. basically used a high temperature spray paint for it so hopefully it won't peel off or anything.

well, that's it for now! i'll try to update with the final result of the bumper. i'm still debating on either mugen lip or type-r lip. after that, i'll mold it into my bumper and start painting. hopefully i won't screw up.

id say keep the white housed headlights, i like the look on the white car. ive recently picked up 3 oem headlights with a grand spending total of $40, haha. but yea, i got a set of lights for $30, and 1 passenger side one for $10. i have a little project in mind, thats why i got the set of lights. plus i have inspection next month, and with no reflector in the headlight, i dont think i stand a good chance of passing, and also having a completely blacked out corner lesnse, haha. but yea man, id say keep em, and good luck with the future stuff and i hope the bondo works for you this time.

Cleaned engine bay

another update! i did this at night so it might be alittle blurry. forgive me =) before, i just 'degrease' my engine bay which i didn't polish it. now i did. and so, i sprayed tire foam over the plastic pieces. and use a brass brush to brush out the dirt from the metal pieces.

so here's a picture of the engine bay when it's not been polished.

this is me cleaning my battery connector. i used a toothbrush and cold water w/ baking soda. it gets the battery acid out from the connector. if too much battery acid is on your connection, your car will not start.

here is the final solution of the engine being cleaned. notice my nozzle washers. it used to be nozzle lights but it was too ricey for me so i took them out. (older sister put them on).

and here's alittle teaser. i got this yellow Nokya bulbs from a fellow 6thgenaccord member. thanks buddy!

i just like the yellow beam. bright enough for me too!

that's it for now! i plan to buy a mugen/type-r lip soon so i could mold that into my bumper also. after that, i will finish with my bondo w/ glass and then paint! stay tune! :D

looks good man. id say get the type-r lip, not enough people have those, and i like the simple look of em.

Nah. They Type R lip doesn't look good on 6thgenaccords. Get the Mugen.

Man, I give you mad props for doing your own bodywork, and its pretty good for a first-timer. Just a thought.....next time use the bondo in smaller amounts. Its alot easier to sand down 3 oz. of bondo than 3 lbs. :D
