Could be the solenoid ..I knew someone who had that same issue but forgot the issue at hand. Sorry I couldn't be more help. If all else fails,call 4ae.

where have you been!?!? lol. hope all problems go well after. how hard is it to remove the solenoid people? i jus had my tranny done 6months ago but now its saying the vtec solenoid code on my comp. so im guessing i have to clean it. anyone know how hard it is or is there a diy with pics? lol lmk.

lol..ya it is easy to clean or change out. Just a little oil will drip out.
And forshure replace the gaskets.
