What's up guys, I'm new to this site and this is my first post. My ride is a 2002 sedan special edition. I have a few mods done, both exterior and performance, but I am looking for some big changes. I am currently in discussion with a performance shop who is going to do a H23a swap for me, which will also convert the car to manual. Just wanted some opinions on whether this is worth it or not. Im looking to keep my car for hopefully as long as Im alive and plan on putting a lot in to it. Just wondering if this swap is worth it, or if there is something better. Thanks for your help and I look forward to being apart of 6th gen. Will get some pics up of my ride asap.

I'm not even done with my 3.0 due to money but I've already want to get a 4cyl Accord just to see what I can do with that motor. The 3.0s are fun but I still believe at some point I'll be wanting more. I won't be getting rid of the Accord I have now but at some point I am going to want a new project. Thinking on either a h23 Accord, 1996 Nissan 300zx, 2006 Pontiac GTO, or a 1986 Merkur. Anyways a swap would probably open up a world of toys to add to your car and it will make you strive to make your car better so it'll fit your way of driving. Good luck and have fun.

why would you down grade...its probably about the same hassle to do the 6spd swap... then you'll be a bamf. Don't go to the h23. Stay with the J..

6spd J30 > 5spd h23 = butt rape

yo man, i've got the same ride as you, all stock.
I'm not wasting money or time on cosmetics and i've been asking around.

apparently the h22a is the way to go, can handle 5-8 psi boost as is and puts out great. It can come standard i've found which is also what im interested in (converting to manual).

what i don't know is what the diff is between the h22a and the h23. i'd love to discuss pure performance options and ideas with ya, cuz i'm thinking about it soo much everyday lol.

if anyone can correct me, or add to, that'd be sweet :coffee:
