Hey guys,

I am trying to get some information on spring rates for H&R springs. I am interested in the difference between the OE Sport springs and the Sport springs. I'm still not sure how much I want to drop my car as i'm going to be keeping the 15" stock rims, but i'd like to know how much more stiff my car would be with each set.

Also, does anyone know if i'd need aftermarket shocks with the sport setup since it only drops 1.5-1.25? I'm assuming the OE sport set doesn't need aftermarket, but the reason I ask is because I already have brand new GR2 shocks ready to go on the car.

Thanks in advance!

Call H&R, I did and they gave me spring rates for the front and rear for the Race springs.

Yeah H&R makes OE, Sport, and Race springs. The OE are like a .5" drop...

Use common sense man, more drop = stiffer spring.

Unfortunately, i'm a few thousand miles away from the car right now and won't be seeing her anytime soon (at least 6 months), AND, my GR2s are brand new anyways. :)

Do you guys think the 1.5" drop would be okay with the stock struts, AND, would it look super goofy with the stock 15" rims? I'm thinking of going with the OE Sports because it'll drop it just a tad and most people probably won't even notice the difference. I've seen alot of cars lowered with stock rims that look like garbage.
