Yea i read that the other day, i was more or less talkin about the fabric inserts on the door and center console. Also how difficult will it be to pull the dash out to paint it?

Pulling out your dashboard is a nightmare, there's about 150 bolts involved. You'd be better off to remove the winshield and do what you want to it from the hood. There's bolts holding it together you'll never see and need some crazy off set screwdrivers to get to them.

I have seen incrediably good (and many more bad) results just from extensive masking. You obviously want to be very careful and take out anything you can like the seats and carpet but it is doable.

1 word for you. Katzkin.

New schemed seats and carpet matched to your current dash with new trim pieces to match is all you need to give a new look imo. If you paint the dash, etc and it starts peeling or needs retouching eventually, you are going to have a ton of re-do work.

I guess if you are hardcore it could be worth it, so I'm not trying to be negative. Just think there's easier ways to get a great tastefully done custom interior. Good luck man.
