Hello all. Im snow. or Tyler
I just acquired my first honda!! it so happens to be a 02 accord coupe.

my previous cars were 4th gen camaros. (2). a lil s10. a built foxbody and a full size truck. haha

i bought it at a pretty seasonable price. sadly it isnt a 3.0. and its auto.

i bought it from a guy who owned it for 2 years and said since he owned it the trans has always slipped. suprise. from what i have read these are really common to do that.

it has 160k miles. besdies the trans slipping i love it.

i want to eventually swap to a 5 speed and get dif seats these cloth ones are crappy. and rims. def rims

Re: Snow here

Snow is not welcome here... Probably why your thread hasn't gotten any replies. Haha! Just kidding! Welcome to the community! You'll find this to be very helpful in going about your five speed swap!

Sites of use to you!

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/

http://www.car-part.com/

Master DIY list will have most of what you need for your swap, but keep everyone in the loop! We can give ya kicks when you need 'em!

Best way I find to search the forum because I personally don't care for the search function is go to google, search what you normally would and append site:6thgenaccord.com to the end. For example...

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=5+speed+swap+site%3A6thgenaccord.com

Re: Snow here

at first i was like did i get banned that quick. thn i caugth on haha. thanks for the welcome.

i have looked through alot of threads. very helpful site.

i think itll be worth it to do the 5 speed swap in the long run. ive read these autos suck big time.

the car that the rims i got tonight came off of was a 96 sedan with coilovers, lambo doors, shaved custom paint and what not.

the new rims are 19" konig. cant seem to figure out which style they are.

they look like heluims

Re: Snow here

(I thought the thread was about a snow storm going on somewhere. lol)

Welcome to 6GA. Make yourself at home. That's a pretty rare oem body color you've got there. (2002 6gen exclusive, Noble Green Pearl))

Happy modding.

+1 on that! Yeah, I was just messing with you bud! Sorry about that! Haha!

May want to change the name of your thread.

Edit > Go Advanced.

Usually these threads get a decent amount of attention and you've gone a month with none which surprises me but I'll be willing to bet people are thinking you're referring.

I like the color. I wouldn't say too rare. Lol I saw same thing Monday and one today. Both coupes. And sunroofs :(. T first I thought someone stole my car.

I found the style of the rims. They are konig blatant. They are 19s. One needs a tire. Thinking about painting them.

Welcome to the site. With 19's you will definitely want to lower the car before putting the wheels on.

My brother had a couple F-body Camaros...first a '93 Z28 and then an '01 SS.
