Name is Justin, I live in southern maine. Never thought I would be on a Honda forum. I have built many BMW's, an Eclipse, a Talon, a Nissan Hardbody, even a Scooter but never a Honda.

I picked up a 98 Accord LX a couple weeks ago, no rust, 100k car. It's an automatic with an iffy trans currently. I just did a waterpump, timing belt, balance shaft belt, plugs, valve adjustment, and plug wires. All Honda parts with the exception of NGK plugs and wires. I have no intention of building this, I currently have a project car that takes any free money I have.

I also orderd a new double din head unit, amp and some components for it. Most of the stuff is here, just waiting on the head unit and amp. Might as well have some decent tunes in my car if it is going to be slow and boring :)

As for my project, I have a 92 Eagle Talon. Motor is built with Eagle rods, Wiesco pistons, and ACL bearings. It has a built head, lots of fuel and a moderatly sized turbo :party36:. If you guys want more on it I'll gladly post the mod list but it is lengthy so I figured I would sum it up.

In the beginning I said I built a scooter, and I wasn't kidding. I actually have to finish it up before summer. It is a chinese scooter that I put a huge big bore kit in, stroked it, cammed it, and clutched it. I'm hoping it will do 75 on flat ground. Scary to think if you look at the welds these things have from factory, some don't even weld the joint they just run a bead down the frame :uhoh2:.

One of my good friends used to be an active member on here but has since gotten tied up with life and no fun cars. I think is user name is Acrod99. Back in the day before he moved to Utah we put a turbonetics kit on it. It was fun while it lasted but the motor was short lived. We swapped it back to a stock replacement motor and off he went to Utah.

I believe I also met Russianred locally once. Wasn't very sociable though :(. Tried striking up conversation about his Accord at a local Autozone. Maybe he thought I was just some dumb guy that saw a front mount? Oh well. Either way, hopefully I can be useful to some of you. This isn't my first rodeo. :favorites13:

Haha, here I am! Awesome man, another Mainer, where do you live? I'm in Wells..

Justin, sorry if I came off as being unsociable! I am a very friendly person, and we need to chill :party52:

I'll PM you my digits. If this was 2010 back when we met, this was probably not a good time in my life, was kind of transitioning between whether I want to finish school or do something else with my life. I have since finished school :)

Again, sorry for coming off as unsociable.. I definitely love to talk to ANYONE about cars and really anything else.

Welcome to the site. If the Accord is a 4cyl and the trans goes, I'd recommend swapping to 5spd.

Well, the first try to write a post with lots of pics and details when my phone ate it. Then I wrote up a summerized version and went to submit it, and found out I can't post links for 7 days so looks like no pics for at least a week.

Nikita if you ever need a hand working on cars or just want to chill, I live in Sanford.
